Authority smaller than minimal required authority
Authority smaller than minimal required authority
The error message:
you will find that this is not the calculation breaking error, but a note to check this carefully.
Meaning:
During the ‘optimise system components’-calculation step, Hysopt calculates the authority of each control valve in the system. If this authority is smaller than the set minimal authority (standard at 0.3), the valve is oversized for the system, meaning it will be working outside of a good range.
How to solve this error:
It may be that the actual size of the valve is correct, in which case, you should look at the calculated pressure drops and flows in the system to confirm that they are accurate.
If the actual valve size is wrong, fill in the right KVS-value, or allow Hysopt to calculate the size through unlocking the value.
