Set Point Profile

This input parameter can be found in:

  • Setpoint generator

  • Modulating room controller

The setpoint profile works between a day and night setpoint, with 4 different modes, each correlating to the number of times a switch between day and night setpoint is found.

  • Continuous

    • Works continuously on the day setpoint

  • Unimodal

    • Has a single peak to the day setpoint

  • Bimodal

    • Has 2 separate peaks to the day setpoint

  • Trimodal

    • Has 3 separate peaks to the day set point

For each mode information is to be put in:

  • Day setpoint

  • Night setpoint

  • Start time (for each peak)

  • End time (for each peak)

For both the setpoints and start/end times a range can be implemented, to account for variability. In the example you can see here there are 3 setpoint generators implemented, each of them is unimodal with day/night 20/14°C, starting on 8h and ending on 18h. As you can see there is a range between the start and end times, as well as on the day and night setpoints.

There is a setting to exclude weekends, which does just that to keep the temperature to the night setpoint during weekends.

And finally, a holiday period, which does the same during the given period.
