The detailed study

A detailed model is also referred to as a full digital twin, where the entire location will be drawn in as accurately as possible. Depending on the project this can be the implementation of floor plans throughout the building, with every radiator drawn, connected through pipework exactly as you would find in the real situation.

This is a very useful study in order to do component selections for pumps, valves, and everything else.

In the paragraphs that follow, the working of a detailed study is explained.

Important note: The methodology used by Hysopt isn’t the only one, however, it is the one devised by the experts using the Hysopt software on a daily basis. This methodology can be used to go through your first projects and afterward be adapted to the user’s specific needs.

The detailed model flow chart

The following flow chart shows the methodology for each project, starting with preparation, following with the actual drawing of the model (featuring all the different bits of information to fill in), checking if the model makes logical sense and ending with the reporting part.
