General tips:

  • Place sensors on all places where you would like to read data from later on, e.g:

Boiler

  • Name circuits, add power info to all supply and end units e.g:

    • Usefull info for boiler:

      • Power [kW], Pressure loss [mbar], water capacity [l]

  • Name changes made

 2.1 Energy center

There are a couple of different options where to take a control strategy for your energy center from.

  1. Check if the same model is available in inspiration library.

    1. If the same model is not available in inspiration library, a similar can can be made based on existing design.

  2. Following parameters need to be accurate in the model to proceed:

    1. Boiler capacity

    2. Water volume

    3. Pressure difference or pipe diameter & lengths and/or on/off valves

2.1.1 Distribution

If applicable, following parts can be used:

Parallel production:

Necessary fields:

  • Primary power percentage

Low Loss Header:

Necessary fields:

  • none

Points of attention:

  • Pump before and after LLH necessary

  • For low return temperature, the returning primairy flow should be kept as small as possible.

Heat exchanger:

Necessary fields:

  • supply and return temperatureOr
