The Pipe Assistant will guide you in creating mappings for Pipe Types and Pipe diameters.

Pipe Types Revit

Revit pipe types are specified with routing preferences. These routing preferences determine the sizes of the pipe segments and the type of fittings.

Pipe Types Hysopt

More information on Pipe Types Hysopt can be found on https://hysopt.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/HBF/pages/3277095870/Select+pipes#Pipe-types

Mapping Pipe Types

In the Pipe assistant, you need to map the corresponding Hysopt and Revit Pipe type. You can do this in the section map in the tab Pipetypes.

Unmapping Pipe Types

To unmap Pipe types, click the unmap button.

Pipe Diameter Mapping

In the tab Diameters, you select a pair of mapped types before you can map the corresponding diameters. You can either map the diameters manual or automap all the diameters.

Manual mapping

Manual mapping allows you to choose the matching diameters for the Revit and Hysopt pipe types that you want to map.
