To start mapping, open the mapping assistant

Description

Enable/disable manual mapping

When manual mapping mode is enabled, you can map pipes, components and other elements manually. Click on an element in the Hysopt model, then click on an element in the Revit model to map. Or vice versa.

Highight all mapped elements

Show next mapping

Undo previous mapping

Delete all mappings

how to map a component?

Activate the manual mapping mode, select a component in Hysopt, and then select a component in Revit, or vice versa.

how to map a zone/space?

Activate the manual mapping mode, select a zonein Hysopt, and then select a space in Revit, or vice versa.

how to map pipes?

You can map all the pipesegments (pipes, fittings, …), but we suggest to just map one pipesegment in Hysopt with one pipesegment in Revit, that’s enough for the BIM feeder

how to map a group of elements, for example a BIM object that corresponds with multiple Hysopt elements?

Just multiselect all the components in Hysopt or Revit, e.g. like in following movie :

Sync views

After enabling “Sync Views“ in the ribbon mananer, you can sync the Hysopt model view and the Revit model view. If you click on a pipe or component in one model, the mapped component will be centered and highlighted automatically in the other model.
