The add assistance parameters tool automatically generates some project parameters. If you want to remove these parameter in later stage, you can do so as explained here.
You can view these parameters via following window in Revit :
Mark a Revit element as end unit
If the information that an element represents an end unit lacks or if you want to ‘force' a component to be interpreted as an end unit by the Hysopt BIM Syncer, you can mark components as end units using the project parameter Hysopt - Generate as End Unit
by putting “1”.
Application (for Hysopt) parameter
Since Revit has no way of indicating if a piping system is applied in a heating system, cooling system or changeover, the “Add Assistance Parameters” automatically adds an extra project parameter Hysopt - Application
for piping systems to the model. The software interpretes the piping system by default as a heating system. You can indicate the type of application by putting one of following numbers:
Heating system
Cooling System
Changeover
This allows the user to define the application on the piping system.
