The validation checks 3 items:
Mapping: Mapping validation validates if elements are mapped.

Semantics: Semantic validation validates if mapped elements have the same function/ role in the installation. This is done by checking the classification of elements.

If you click the download as Excel spreadsheet button, a save as window will open. Specify a file name and location for the validation report.  By clicking save, a toast message appears to mention that the file download is successful. There is an option to open the Excel spreadsheet or to convert it into a Revit sheet.
