Application
Domestic Hot Water
This standard calculates the diversity based on
Number of tapping points
Type of the tapping points
Total DHW flow
Diversified DHW flow
Number of dwellings
Diversity formula
With this calculation method, the diversity factor decreases according to the diversity factors as defined in the standard. For more than 14 dwellings, it decreases according to the formula 0,8 / square root (3*N -1), in which N is the number of dwellings.
WARNING : when using this method, you will have to define and lock the diversified hot water flow rate for an individual dwelling yourself in the DHW regime on each individual HIU or ILS building block. For HIU's without a locked diverisifed flow rate, a default value of 0.6 m3/h will be used.
Applies diversity
inside the dwelling
outside the dwelling
Requires recalculation of DHW flows?
No.
