Compute design flows

With the action "Compute design flows" all the design flows are calculated based on the power and temperature regime of the end units.

The calculation is done through a propagation which starts at the end units (through your parameterisation) and is calculated from there, upstream to the production units. The filled-in temperature regime and power is propagated to the nodes and base circuits upstream of the end units. Where multiple pipes come together, the propagated power is added together and the temperature regime is recalculated. Where multiple pipes split off, the hybrid blocks need to be used to define the power propagation.

In the figure below you see the calculated design flows, regimes and design heat flows on the labels, where H/C stands for heating and cooling.

Notice that the return temperature at the boiler is not 65°C. The return temperature at the boiler is calculated based on the design flows and the return temperature of the end units.
