Application
Hybrid production blocks are Base Circuits (BCs) in a Hysopt model that assist the “Compute Design Flow” calculation step. In “compute design flow”, the design heat flow is propagated from end unit(s) to production unit(s). When having multiple production units, the software cannot decide independently how the design heat flow coming from the ens units needs to be propagated among the different production units. For this purpose, hybrid production blocks are used. This principle is illustrated in the figure below:

In the Hysopt software, it is possible to connect several productions in following topologies:
