In Hysopt there are two CHP models:

  • Combined Heat & Power

Same This model contains the yield curves of an combustion engine CHP, depending on the incoming return temperature, a thermal and electrical power is generated.  Same as the heat flow controlled boiler, the user must apply a control loop on this model. The input on this model is a power modulation signal (between 0 and 1. .1).In token above you can find an example of using this base circuit.

  • Boiler with stirling engine

????Like the previous model, this model also includes yield curves but from a Stirling engine. In which depending on the incoming return temperature, a thermal and electrical power is generated. Most of the time is it used in combination with a normal boiler, an example can be found in token above.
