Mark endunits
The generation of the Hysopt model will start by looking for the endunits.
By default, it will use the classification (like ETIM, IfcExportType, …) to find out if the component is an endunit.
If this information is not available, The add assistance parameters tool automatically generates some project parameters.
You can view these parameters via following window in Revit :

Mark a Revit element as end unit
If the information that an element represents an end unit lacks or if you want to ‘force' a component to act be interpreted as an endunitend unit by the Hysopt BIM Syncer, you can mark components as endunits end units using the project parameter Hysopt - Generate as endunit

Applications
In Hysopt we know several applications :
heating
cooling
chang-over
DHW (future)
Ventilation (future)
By default, the Hysopt BIM Syncer will take a look at the endunits, and based on the available info on that endunits, generate a model with the corresponding application. If no further information is available, it will generate by default a heating application.
End Unit
by putting “1”.

Application (for Hysopt) parameter
Since Revit has no way of indicating what type of application you are designing, the BIM Syncer if a piping system is applied in a heating system, cooling system or changeover, the “Add Assistance Parameters” automatically adds an extra project parameter Hysopt - Application
for piping systems to the model. The software interpretes the piping system by default as a heating system. You can indicate the type of application by putting one of following numbers:
Heating system
Cooling System
Changeover
This allows the user to define the application on the piping system.

As explained above, the Hysopt BIM Syncer automatically generates some project parameters. You can view these parameters via following window in Revit :
