Systems are built in the drawing canvas according to the following workflow:
First, the appropriate basic circuits must be dragged & dropped into the drawing canvas.
Secondly, the basic circuits are connected using the right piping tools.
A basic circuit is selected by clicking (Left Mouse Button) on a BC in the library (DO NOT KEEP THE MOUSE BUTTON PUSHED IN, A SINGLE CLICK WILL DO!). Once selected the mouse cursor is replaced by the respective basic circuit which can now be dropped into the drawing canvas by once clicking the left mouse button again. Multiple basic circuits from the same type can be successively dropped into the drawing canvas. The actual cursor mode can be undone by clicking the right mouse button or the escape function.

Usage of pre-built Snippets from the BC library
As part of the Hysopt BC library, Hysopt also provides commonly-used configurations for a particular BC under the form of snippets. Snippets can be accessed by clicking the expand icon in the bottom-right corner of a base circuit in the library. The expand icon will open the snippet pop-up window with all available snippets for that particular base circuit. When selecting a snippet from the pop-up window, the snippet is pasted as a group onto your canvas.
Snippets allow users to quickly build models and reduce complexity regarding control strategy, as proven control logic is integrated in the snippet.
Base circuits for which no snippets are available do not display the expand icon . You can always request a new snippet by contacting support@hysopt.com by adding the desired configuration in the attachments.

By selecting a snippet, you also paste the snippet to your Hysopt clipboard so you can paste the same snippet quickly multiple times. |
